Hi guys, this is Adrian with applied spirituality. And Today is a big day for me.
As many of you know, a year ago, I got fired. And I decided back then it was in middle of the pandemic, to go into the coaching and training business. I was really fearful, really scary, but I got a lot of help, a lot of help by motivational speakers that share their stories, you know, their stories of having a calling, listening to their voice, going all in struggling, getting defeated, but always getting back and finally, succeeding. And listening to their stories, they always share one, common thing and that is that phrase that they tell you: “if I can do it, you can do it too”.
That phrase really pissed me off. Not because it’s false. It’s just I could not believe it. You know, there was always this little voice that told me “Yeah, right. That might be true for you, but it’s not for me.” And, you know, in 2017 , I was an intercultural coach, I helped people deal with intercultural communication issues. And back then I thought, well, in person training, and coaching is great. But if I want to serve more people, I got to go online.
And that’s four years ago, and nothing happened. Why?
Because I got fearful: fear of being rejected, fear of not being enough, fear of being a fraud. And all those fears simply got the better of me, although I do believe that we should all live to our potential, which I did not.
And so fast forward a couple of years. Now, I’m here, I have launched my business in terms of getting to one on one coaching, but I still live under my potential.
What I was looking for during this year was a story that could help me lift my fears, a story of someone that was in the same business as I am, that share their story while unfolding. That is not a story of success, but simply an authentic story of someone trying to do something. I was looking for that kind of story. And I’m sure there are plenty of stories, but I did not find mine. And so I thought, enough is enough. I have got to face my fears. If I want to help my clients in a much better way and even be more authentic, I got to face my own fears completely and fully. And so this is what I’m going to do.
As of today, I’m going to share with you how I’m going to build my business. And it’s the scariest thing I can think of right now because a I have no clue.
Well, that’s not really true. I have a little bit of clue how to do it. I have a few ideas. I’ve watched a training called thought leader roadmap from Brendon Burchard that has given me a little bit of room here to think, but still, I’m freakishly afraid. So :
A I have just a little bit of clue. Mostly I have no clue because I’ve I haven’t done it myself yet. And B I’m not at all insured of any kind of success. So there you go. I’ll be posting videos now. From today, every day. I don’t know the rhythm yet. I don’t know which medium I’m going to use whether Instagram, Facebook, I think this video I will post right away on Instagram. And then we’ll see how it goes. I’ll be sharing my story and how I will be moving day by day I’ll share my plans with you my goals and whether or not I achieve those goals. So you’ll be hearing good stories, probably bad stories as well. We’ll have to learn how much I should be sharing probably I’ll share a little bit too much at the beginning. But either way, I’m hoping that you will engage with me that we can have conversations that you can post questions that you can share your stories with me, fuel me and so that I can serve you in the best possible way.
I wish you a wonderful day and a wonderful life and live up to your potential !
